Possible ‘No-Deal’ Brexit: Implications on International Applications and Registrations under the Madrid System and on Subsequent Designations

Information is now available on the implications of a ‘no-deal’ Brexit on international applications and registrations under the Madrid System filed or held by United Kingdom (UK) nationals or legal entities and on subsequent designations of the UK resulting from conversion.

WIPO is releasing information on these implications to make Madrid System users aware of how their rights would be preserved – and how to safeguard those rights – in a no deal scenario.
